Meet your chiropractor

Anna Wilson, MChiro, CACCP

My first experience of chiropractic was whilst working at a dressage riding stables in Australia, where a chiropractor came to treat the horses every month. The difference in their movement after each visit was remarkable and from the way the horses willingly and calmly accepted their adjustments, they certainly thought it was doing them some good! Once my travels were over, I applied to the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic in Bournemouth. I graduated in 2013 and began practicing in Yorkshire.

Since graduating, I have continued to expand my knowledge about chiropractic and health, particularly with regards to pregnancy, post-natal and paediatric care. I am the only chiropractor in the York and East Yorkshire area to be both certified in the Webster Technique and to have completed the full programme of courses and exam offered by the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association, resulting in my Certification by the Academy Council on Chiropractic Pediatrics (CACCP).

These days I am a mother to three lovely boys and can also claim a working knowledge of trains, dinosaurs and sea creatures! I also enjoy outdoor sports, cycling, sewing, growing veg and living part-time on a narrowboat. I'm passionate about tapping into our own bodies’ naturally abundant health. Quite simply, I love helping people to live their best lives through chiropractic – whether that’s having a comfortable pregnancy, performing at your best in sport or keeping up with your (grand)children.
